But I guess we've got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate."

It is absolutely hilarious that the neocons are sending out a lightweight like Sarah Palin, the "hockey mom", to be the equivalent of a hockey "goon".

McCain DID tell vicious lies about Obama, right to his face.
A lie bothering me earlier tonight, is this nonsense about how Iraq is the "central front in the war on terror" and the insanity of QUOTING BIN LADIN to prove it.
The personal attack part is when McCain said Obama 'doesn't understand' it.
And the personal part is a diversion from the big lie.
In REALITY, bin Laden bragged that he was going to use the US as a pawn to remove the infidel leader of Iraq (Saddam). And we obliged him.
Then bin Laden urged followers to turn Iraq into the equivalent of what Afghanistan was for Russia-- back when bin Laden was a Reagan ally there.
Or, in other words, turn it into another Vietnam morass.
And again we charged right into his trap.
So for McCain to brandish that quote as-if it means we should go further down the road of folly in Iraq-- is a profoundly huge lie.
And, back to the personal bit, it's nuts to accuse Obama of 'not understanding' something crazy.
Like saying "Barak Obama doesn't understand that piss is champagne!"
Yeah-- he doesn't. Because it ain't.
As much as I denounce McCain, I think this is the single most despicable piece of misinformation he's feeding the American public. And he's commited to it to cover his own incriminated ass. McCain was a cheerleader for the disaster in Iraq. And he won't admit he was dead wrong.
Obama should lump all McCain's lies together. He should say that McCain's lies about Ayers are no different from his lies about Obama's tax plan, or kindergarden sex-ed, or the war.
McCain will say anything to get elected. He HAS lied to the American public in the debates; about Obama and everything else.

Good post, iceman. The biggest lie, that we can leave Iraq with honor without admitting we didn't go in with honor, is still being told along with all of it's supporting lies.
It amazes me, but I think that a sizable portion of the American people are actually on to this. I flipped to CNN with their "family feud" ticker running across the bottom of the screen, and McSame's graph tanked whenever he'd tell thise lies.
By the time of the next debate, McSame could be as desperate as the hateful people in the video speedy posted this morning. If America sees that side of him we could be seeing clips of that debate for generations, and the GOP "brand" will be tarnished for as long. Then again, it probably is, already.

I made it about 2 minutes into the campaign the other night before I started screaming at the TV because McSpain was lying everytime he opened his mouth. I had to change channels or I would have been up all night...
I can't stand to look at that pathetic old bastard with his little t. rex arms, his lockjaw rictus death's head grin, and that god damn walnut on the side of his head.
Harsh? Yeah, but fuck McSpain. He's the biggest horse-shit artist pol I've ever seen. His reputation is a total crock of shit.
